Before going to Little
Rock, I was in Brockton, MA at the Foxy Lady. One of my favorite
clubs and I broke down twice on my way to feature in Little Rock.
I spent $700.00 on a fuel pump and should have just bought a new
Chrysler Town and Country mini-van then! But no, I dragged on to CA
and continued to spend more money on that stupid Dodge Grand Caravan
for an exhaust system that disconnected when I hit my agent in CA
driving behind him and too close. Then had to get one rotor ground
and the other replaced and new front brakes for another $450.00. Oh, I
almost forgot, two new tires right before I got to Brockton. I
figured I was good to go for a real long time before more car
repairs. To be continued.......
The Paper Moon in
Little Rock was a great club to work at. Unfortunately on Friday
morning, while at the vet with my dog Spider, my neck started to lock up on
me. I knew it was bad so I asked to vet if he knew a good
Chiropractor. He did, and I went to see her. Luckily, a handsome,
huge body builder came to my rescue and drove me to see her. 2 1/2
hours later, electrodes, adjustments and ice, I walked out of her
office in a neck brace had to do 6 more shows. Three that night and
three the next. I drove to CA with the brace on, but was too
embarrassed to wear it there. I've had a hard time these past few
months, but I'm stronger for it. I pulled through my shows with the
help of the wonderful bar staff of the Paper Moon, and management
Curtis (Sweetie). |
